IN 1987 The Reverend John Hogan broke from the Pentecostal Holiness Church and set out to develop a ministry teaching that God's Grace reconciles all that believe in Him. His aim was to teach everyone that they were forgiven by the Word of God through the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. In 1988 He founded the Word of Grace Fellowship Ministry and held Sunday Services in Summit, NJ, where he stayed till his death.
Rev. Hogan had a Masters degree from Jersey City State College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. He taught for 32 years in the urban Newark Public School System after his term in the US Army. He also held an advanced degree from the Word of Faith Leadership and Bible Institute in Dallas Tex. He served as a Director of the Institute for 5 years. He also taught on Wednesday nights at Evangelistic Center for several years and led a Home Fellowship for 5 years as well. He was licensed & ordained by Word of Grace Fellowship as its Pastor in Oct 1988 and remained the Pastor until his death in Sept 2006

Spirit of Understanding
Introduction: The word Understanding it to gain insight into something. Wisdom is to apply knowledge. Knowledge is facts, Understanding is revelation and wisdom is applying the facts you learned in your life! The Spirit of understanding is when the Holy Spirit gives us the revelation or understanding into something. The Holy Spirit will help you understand what you need to know when you ask him. The Spirit of Understanding helps me to be WISE for Wisdom and Understanding goes together!
Focus Scripture Isa 11:2 2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
The spirit of understanding means the Holy Spirit helps us to understand what God wants us to do in a situation. This can also mean that the holy Spirit gives us understanding as a gift from God. What God gives to us is by grace for all the gifts are undeserved. So God wants us to understand what he wants from us. This was Isaiah telling us that 700 years before Christ!
OT Verses:
Who receives Understanding in the OT it was given to those that sought God. God wants to know what is going on and to understand his Word. He loves us and wants us to know Him. When we understand Him. When we love someone, we should want them to understand us. The spirit of understanding is to help us know Him! We should know that we are SET in Him and that God desires us to know Him!
Spirit in Man Job 32:8-9 8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
There is a spirit in man and the Spirit of God but the Spirit of God gives us his understanding for what we need in this life. We assume that old men are wise but that is not always so. We need to learn the Word and trust the Word to understand God. We need the anointing or the inspiration of God. The one who said this was Elishu who was younger than the other 3 friends of Job. He was sent there by God to speak to Job and after Elishu spoke then God spoke to Job! You can understand God when God gives you the revelation for a particular topic or issue!
Enter the Word - Ps 119:130 130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
The fact that we can have the Word of God give us light or revelation so even those who are not learned can understand. The simple means that one is humble. They focus on what God says and is not complicating things by listening to the world and what it says. When we allow ourselves to make things simple then we can hear God better! God wants us to keep things simple and to not complicate things. It is by grace so let God bless us!
The right way to understand Isa 28:9-13 9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.13 But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
There is a right way to do things and a wrong way! Isaiah tells us to that to understand we need to grow as a baby who is weaned from the milk! We need to grow line upon line and a little at a time. We cannot overwhelm ourselves for then we do not understand things well. Understanding comes when we allow the Lord to teach us concept on concept (precept on precept). When we speak what we understand then we can learn as we go. So, when we understand we can grow in the Spirit (that is what is meant by stammering lips)
I can have His Understanding – this is a promise of God and comes from the book of Proverbs. Solomon wrote Proverbs so this comes the wisest man who ever lived. His wisdom came from a gift of God. Understanding is a gift of God and comes from the Holy Spirit who gives to us his understanding that we need to deal with different situations. Understanding is a spirit but it is also given to us as a gift! You must be made FIT before God and then you can have his understanding about things!
Favor with God - Pr. 3:4-6 4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
You can have favor or grace when you have understanding when you go in the sight of God. Understanding comes by grace according to Solomon. Acknowledge Him and let God direct your way. Understand what God wants to do in your life! Trust Him from your heart! Rely on Him and know that when you lean to your own understanding then you cannot also rely on God’s understanding. IT is either your understanding, or His understanding! To know His understanding, realize that it comes from the Spirit of God and God gives you grace so you can know God is good and that we need to get in the presence of God to make it happen in our life!
I will Get Understanding Pr. 4:7 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Do you see what Solomon is saying here? Wisdom and understanding go together. Seek wisdom and then you can also seek understanding. He sought wisdom by going to God and praying to the Lord and then he could seek the understanding of God! The bible Is talking about what belongs to God! The wisdom here and the understanding is what belongs to God! So go to the Lord and get the understanding you need!
The Knowledge of the Holy Pr. 9:10 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Knowing God is here said to be understanding. God and understanding goes together. Understanding is connected with the fear of the Lord and wisdom! So, we need to connect the wisdom of God with how to understand we should be able to use wisdom. Knowledge and understanding go hand in hand. You cannot use the knowledge of God without understanding how to use it. You need to be holy in his sight!
NT Verses:
Speak from His Understanding- This means I must speak from his point of view! Everyone has a point of view about different things. We may not all have the same thoughts on the same things. We need to learn from each other. God is right on all things so it is important to learn from each other. God is the only one who is right on all things! HE’S right for HE is God on all things,
Heart Understanding Mt 13:13-15 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
What we have from the Lord comes to our heart. Spirit to Spirit, Heart to heart and mind to mind. God wants to be a part of every area of our life! Notice that Jesus says that you must understand with your heart and then you can be converted. The spirit of understanding helps to understand what God wants to do in your life! Hearing God will help you hear not only with your physical ear but also with your spirit. You need to hear in the spirit before you can understand with your heart!
Ears of the Spirit Acts 28:26-27 26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Notice the same words from Paul that Jesus said! They both quoted the prophets! God will use the witnesses of the past to help us understand the present. God will bring back the words of others when you need to hear them again. Maybe a pastor, or friend, or maybe a Scripture that you have not read in a while! God wants to heal you but you need to hear the Word so you will not close your eyes to what He wants to do in your life! You will see Him work in your life when you open your mind to Him!
Sing with the Understanding 1 Cor 14;14-15 14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
You can pray in the Spirit or pray with your understanding! You can sing in the Spirit or sing in the spirit. You can also sing with your understanding! How will you pray about things. The question is what will you do? Will you sing and speak your understanding? You can understand but the understand must come from the Spirit and not from your way of thinking! Will you pray with the spirit or in the Spirit to get the understanding that you need for the situation? You cannot understand what you pray in the Spirit without an interpretation. But praying in the Spirit increases your faith!
Evidence of His Understanding in Me- When we have evidence that means that we can prove something. I can prove that God is in me because of the understanding that he gives to me. I can speak with his knowledge and understanding. It is important that we know that for when we speak with the right understanding then we can speak with the right thoughts. ALL we can do is demonstrate this understanding to others. We can pray for others but we need to have a relationship with God first. Then once we have an assurance of this understanding in our spirit!
Assurance of Understanding Col 2:2-3 2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Do you have the assurance in your life? Comfort your hearts and let the Love of God be a source of comfort and mercy to you. Let God give you the understanding you need because of the Father and Jesus. The Spirit of God always is in agreement with the Father and Christ. The Holy Spirit will reveal to you His wisdom and knowledge in all things? This is part of the spirit of understanding!
Life of God Eph 4:17-20 17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
A dark understanding is one that is that alienated from God (one that does not have God in their life) You either have God in your life or Satan! God wants to know you and trust Him! God says know that you are no longer ignorant or blind in your heart. People who are not born again live selfish ( vanity of their mind) and give themselves over to their selfish desires. Focus on Christ and make Christ the source for that is the source of your understanding! The spirit of understanding is about what Christ has done for you for we are to focus on Him and for it is all about Christ!
Let me pray for your understanding - Col 1:9 9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
I want to pray that you that do not know the Lord will come to know the Lord! I want to pray that you will come to know the power of the Holy Spirit in your life! I want you to know the knowledge of God’s will for your life! I want you to walk in the wisdom of God and have his understanding in this life! Understand his grace and walk in that grace and mercy today! Live daily in what Christ did! The understanding of God’s Spirit helps you to walk in the newness of life!
Conclusion – We have talked about some things we can know because of the spirit of understanding in our life. What do you understand about God and what do you desire to know about the Lord? What do you need to know in your life? The life of God is in you and wants to help you understand how to walk in his understanding in our life! God wants to help you understand what He wants from you in this life so walk in that knowledge and love the Lord in every area of your life daily!
Application – I will understand with my heart and with my mind. I will listen to the Spirit and walk with the Spirit in my life. Holy Spirit empower those who listen to my voice today! Read the Word and let the Holy Spirit give you understanding about that verse or what God wants to do in your life! Ask God so you can help others when they are suffering for we need to give them comfort and can only do that when we have the word of God to help lead us!
Prayer for healing- (pray in faith believing) Expect a miracle and see yourself as being healed. Find a Scripture for your healing and speak that forth. Heavenly Father I pray for healing. I thank you for manifesting healing in my body today! You took all my sickness, disease, pain, sorrow for you paid for it on the cross of Calvary. I speak healing into my body and command ______________ to leave my body! No weapon can defeat me! I call myself healed because of the blood of Jesus Christ. Devil take your hands off of me for I am the child of the living God! Now thank the Lord for healing you!
Prayer for Salvation- I pray that all of you will come to know Jesus. Pray with me: Heavenly Father I recognize my need for you for without Jesus, I cannot make it in this life. I need you! I know I am a sinner and I need your SON. I recognize that Jesus died for my sin when Jesus died for me on Calvary. I believe that he rose again so that I can go to heaven and live with you there. Thank you for paying for my sin and bringing me into your forever family. So, Jesus come into my heart and live in me today! I am now a Christian!

Prayer for healing- (pray in faith believing) Expect a miracle and see yourself as being healed. Find a Scripture for your healing and speak that forth. Heavenly Father I pray for healing. I thank you for manifesting healing in my body today! You took all my sickness, disease, pain, sorrow for you paid for it on the cross of Calvary. I speak healing into my body and command ______________ to leave my body! No weapon can defeat me! I call myself healed because of the blood of Jesus Christ. Devil take your hands off of me for I am the child of the living God! Now thank the Lord for healing you!
Prayer for Salvation- I pray that all of you will come to know Jesus. Pray with me: Heavenly Father I recognize my need for you for without Jesus, I cannot make it in this life. I need you! I know I am a sinner and I need your SON. I recognize that Jesus died for my sin when Jesus died for me on Calvary. I believe that he rose again so that I can go to heaven and live with you there. Thank you for paying for my sin and bringing me into your forever family. So, Jesus come into my heart and live in me today! I am now a Christian!

Faith that is Alive and Unshakeable
Introduction: Understand that when we follow Jesus, we need to represent the Lord for we represent the LIFE of God to others. When they see us, they see the LIFE of God that is in us. That is how we know that our faith is alive because it causes us to demonstrate the LIFE of God into people so you can walk in the life of God and show others how to do so!
Focus Scripture Jn 7:3-5 3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.4 For there is no man that doeth anything in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.
Many times, Jesus did not want to be known in what he did. Lots of times he said do not tell anyone for he was not seeking fame or glory for himself. Too often people want to seek their own glory but we should always seek to honor the Lord and not yourself. Yet, he had multitudes that followed him because of the teachings and miracles that he did. He could not anymore be private but spoke openly!
Living Faith comes when we put our faith in the SON of God for without the knowledge of who Jesus is we cannot know God. All knowledge of God comes through the revelation of the Son and the SON came to reveal the Father. We must know the SON to do miracles so we can walk in power and to have faith operate in our life. So, we must walk in the new life that came by the life and then the death of the SON of God on Calvary to provide redemption for all mankind!
Sword of the Spirit Heb 4:12-13 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
This Is one of the weapons that we have as a believer but this is the basis for our relationship. We must rely on the Word. The Word lets us know what we have in the Lord and allows us to know the answer for the covenant and all we have in Him is expressed in the Word. God uses the Word to defeat the enemy! Words release power and allows us to express the faith that we have inside. The internal realities are expressed through words. The Word of God has power and allows us to release what God put inside of us!
Obey the Word Pr. 4:20-22 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
The word must be deposited inside of us. We put the Word constantly Word constantly before us- with songs Word, preaching, and fellowship. That is why the fellowship of believers is so important in our life. We must keep the Word in front of us so it will not depart from us so it will not depart from our eyes and cause us to have life for life is speak life and produce life in ourselves and others. When we obey the Word then we keep the answer in front of us so we can walk in power and authority in our life and bring that into the lives of others like Jesus did!
New Life Mark 10:46-52 46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
This is a great example of someone who was made new by going to Jesus! This blind man threw out his coat showing that he was no longer needing that source for his living. That coat made people know he was blind! He went to Jesus saying I want to see and demonstrated his faith in the Lord! He recognized Christ as the Messiah and though people said do not bother Christ He cried louder and Jesus showed him favor and Bartimaeus then received the favor of people once Christ recognized Bartimaeus.
I will believe because I have a BIG God who wants to walk and talk with Me. He wants to love me and fellowship with ME. God wants to answer my prayers and has prepared a place for me. God loves me. I will believe because of what He has already done for me and not because of what I must do to please Him. The answer is in the provision that was made for me. IT is much easier to believe knowing that the answer is already given to me then to know I must have the answer!
Believe in Christ Jn 11:25-27 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
The basis of our faith is knowing that Christ is alive and rose from the dead. He raised many from the dead including Lazarus. Jesus wants us to know that the life of God now lives in us. It starts by us knowing who Jesus is and then we can appropriate the life that is in Him! We start with this confession of faith. Then we go to the point of walking in the knowledge that the Great I Am wants to give us his the power of the name I AM to live in us!
I Believe All Things are Possible Mark 9:23-24 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
Faith says that all things are possible. When you believe that then you can expect the impossible. If you do not expect the impossible you can never make it happen. The answer is in striving for the impossible. When you go for broke then you can hit it. You can hit the target but you must take your best shot. You have to encourage someone to reach the target Faith reaches out and trust that God will provide for you! The man believed even though it seemed impossible to him and Jesus did the work. Jesus is still doing the work when we believe!
God Sent His Son Jn 6:28-29 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
The Work of God is to believe. The Work of God is not to strive with the flesh! Faith is the work! Faith causes us to manifest the work for the work of God. The work of God has always been manifested by faith. From the beginning of time God always created by faith. Now God wants us to partner with Him! We are now part of his family so we have access to the family rights and as such we can work in the earth like God does! We work as He does!
Faith in God – we all need to have a purpose or an AIM to shoot for. You can have a goal but without purpose you cannot hit anything there must be something you are going to shoot for. God says HE wants to be your AIM. He gave you an AIM to shoot for because HE gave you his faith so you can use what He has to accomplish the task that he has for you to complete your mission in this life!
Ask in Faith 1 Jn 5:14-15 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
When the Bible says ask in faith it does not mean to beg but to boldly ask. The Greek word is much stronger almost to the point of saying Demand. We speak with power and authority saying IN the Name of Jesus be healed. That is how we ask. But Christians go cowardly to ask, yet God wants us to go boldly in faith for that is how he acts so God wants us to ask like He does! We can have it if we ask boldly in faith with faith knowing that He will do it because he wants us to have what he provided!
I want to Bless you Heb 6:12-15 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
God told Abraham way back in Gen. 12 that he would bless him. God wants to bless you as well and gave you over 3,000 promises for God is still a God of covenant and says I will do it! God provided all you need in Christ! Paul said this to the Hebrews and the covenant they had still blessed them today! God says you have a better covenant and God wants to multiply your income and bless you beyond your thinking. Think big! Have a big vision and expect miracles in your life today!
Manifested Miracles in our Lives 1 Cor 2:4-7 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Here the Apostle Paul says he demonstrated the Gospel. He not only taught the Gospel but demonstrated it with miracles. God wants us to flow in miracles and we must do that with faith! God says that our faith does not go by reason, for no one can explain the things of God by reason. The things of God are what we should focus on and not the things that pertain to what we want. We focus too much on our needs and not the needs of the Kingdom!
Express Your Faith It is HIS faith His Story and HIS Word for HE is the one who created all things so it is all about Him. So let us be part of the Story and walk in HIS power so we can do the things that HE has called us to do. Todo that we must express what He put in our lives to tell. Tell others about HIS work and the things that HE did for us and the good things of God is constantly doing for us so we can share the kingdom that is within us. We can express our faith because of what He deposited within us to do the work in us to get the job done. We make withdraws from the bank of Jesus in Heaven.
Hearing the Word Rom 10:14-18 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
This is true for any business! When you study football, baseball, or any other sport you are said to have a high IQ for that sport. Study the Kingdom and have a high IQ for the Kingdom and speak that out. When you learn to speak out the words of the Kingdom then you will have what the Kingdom says you can have! You must believe that God said it and then you can obey the Gospel. Gospel teaching is in the concept of peace and righteousness and not in striving to obey the rules of men! Do you believe the report of men or the report of God?
I am Crucified with Christ Gal 2:20 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Say this with me: I am Crucified with Christ. You deserved to die and yet you live in Christ for he died for your sin! We do not consider ourselves to be unworthy since we do not do major sins. We think of ourselves as pretty good people but God sees all men as deserving of death for we are all sinners because of Adam’s sin and all men were in need of redemption so Christ came to die for all men not just the evil ones but also the goody too shoes as well! SO now because of the work of Christ I can say that I live by the faith of the Son of God and can use that faith to open doors for others in my life!
Strong Faith of Abraham Rom 4:17-21 17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Abraham was quite a guy for he believed God when he was 75 and left his country even though at that time he never heard of this God. He was polytheistic in his belief and was now going against the gods of his fathers and family. He believed in the God who spoke to him the good news of having a great family even though his wife was 65 then. He believed in a God who said things too wonderful to believe and trusted him with all things in his life. He believed God would raise his son from the dead after he killed the boy. What a faith! HE believed and led a life of faith being obedient even though at times he did not hold fast to his faith! God called him faithful and took him to that land that he promised!
Conclusion- Faith si not just to believe one time but to have a life of faith that causes you to walk knowing that God will provide all your needs no matter what. Faith trusts Him in all situations despite the evidence to the contrary for God is greater than anything that the Devil does. Faith believes! We can live in an unshakeable faith that has confidence that God will come through every time and in every situation for God is greater than anything that the Devil can do. God is the Creator and all things are subject to Him! So, walk in that confidence today!
Application – This message is about helping you to understand that you have LIFE in Him and can walk in that LIFE just like others did for God is greater than your mistakes and the problems that you see in this life. God wants to open doors for you in this life and allow you to walk as a faith giant to produce miracles in this life just like those in HEB 11 and to have victory in every area of your life. Do not limit yourself or God, but walk in faith today!

Hearing the Word Rom 10:14-18 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
This is true for any business! When you study football, baseball, or any other sport you are said to have a high IQ for that sport. Study the Kingdom and have a high IQ for the Kingdom and speak that out. When you learn to speak out the words of the Kingdom then you will have what the Kingdom says you can have! You must believe that God said it and then you can obey the Gospel. Gospel teaching is in the concept of peace and righteousness and not in striving to obey the rules of men! Do you believe the report of men or the report of God?
I am Crucified with Christ Gal 2:20 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Say this with me: I am Crucified with Christ. You deserved to die and yet you live in Christ for he died for your sin! We do not consider ourselves to be unworthy since we do not do major sins. We think of ourselves as pretty good people but God sees all men as deserving of death for we are all sinners because of Adam’s sin and all men were in need of redemption so Christ came to die for all men not just the evil ones but also the goody too shoes as well! SO now because of the work of Christ I can say that I live by the faith of the Son of God and can use that faith to open doors for others in my life!
Strong Faith of Abraham Rom 4:17-21 17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Abraham was quite a guy for he believed God when he was 75 and left his country even though at that time he never heard of this God. He was polytheistic in his belief and was now going against the gods of his fathers and family. He believed in the God who spoke to him the good news of having a great family even though his wife was 65 then. He believed in a God who said things too wonderful to believe and trusted him with all things in his life. He believed God would raise his son from the dead after he killed the boy. What a faith! HE believed and led a life of faith being obedient even though at times he did not hold fast to his faith! God called him faithful and took him to that land that he promised!
Conclusion- Faith si not just to believe one time but to have a life of faith that causes you to walk knowing that God will provide all your needs no matter what. Faith trusts Him in all situations despite the evidence to the contrary for God is greater than anything that the Devil does. Faith believes! We can live in an unshakeable faith that has confidence that God will come through every time and in every situation for God is greater than anything that the Devil can do. God is the Creator and all things are subject to Him! So, walk in that confidence today!
Application – This message is about helping you to understand that you have LIFE in Him and can walk in that LIFE just like others did for God is greater than your mistakes and the problems that you see in this life. God wants to open doors for you in this life and allow you to walk as a faith giant to produce miracles in this life just like those in HEB 11 and to have victory in every area of your life. Do not limit yourself or God, but walk in faith today!
Prayer for healing- (pray in faith believing) Expect a miracle and see yourself as being healed. Find a Scripture for your healing and speak that forth. Heavenly Father I pray for healing. I thank you for manifesting healing in my body today! You took all my sickness, disease, pain, sorrow for you paid for it on the cross of Calvary. I speak healing into my body and command ______________ to leave my body! No weapon can defeat me! I call myself healed because of the blood of Jesus Christ. Devil take your hands off of me for I am the child of the living God! Now thank the Lord for healing you!
Prayer for Salvation- I pray that all of you will come to know Jesus. Pray with me: Heavenly Father I recognize my need for you for without Jesus, I cannot make it in this life. I need you! I know I am a sinner and I need your SON. I recognize that Jesus died for my sin when Jesus died for me on Calvary. I believe that he rose again so that I can go to heaven and live with you there. Thank you for paying for my sin and bringing me into your forever family. So, Jesus come into my heart and live in me today! I am now a Christian!

Faith that is Alive and Unshakeable
Introduction: Understand that when we follow Jesus, we need to represent the Lord for we represent the LIFE of God to others. When they see us, they see the LIFE of God that is in us. That is how we know that our faith is alive because it causes us to demonstrate the LIFE of God into people so you can walk in the life of God and show others how to do so!
Focus Scripture Jn 7:3-5 3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.4 For there is no man that doeth anything in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.
Many times, Jesus did not want to be known in what he did. Lots of times he said do not tell anyone for he was not seeking fame or glory for himself. Too often people want to seek their own glory but we should always seek to honor the Lord and not yourself. Yet, he had multitudes that followed him because of the teachings and miracles that he did. He could not anymore be private but spoke openly!
Living Faith comes when we put our faith in the SON of God for without the knowledge of who Jesus is we cannot know God. All knowledge of God comes through the revelation of the Son and the SON came to reveal the Father. We must know the SON to do miracles so we can walk in power and to have faith operate in our life. So, we must walk in the new life that came by the life and then the death of the SON of God on Calvary to provide redemption for all mankind!
Sword of the Spirit Heb 4:12-13 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
This Is one of the weapons that we have as a believer but this is the basis for our relationship. We must rely on the Word. The Word lets us know what we have in the Lord and allows us to know the answer for the covenant and all we have in Him is expressed in the Word. God uses the Word to defeat the enemy! Words release power and allows us to express the faith that we have inside. The internal realities are expressed through words. The Word of God has power and allows us to release what God put inside of us!
Obey the Word Pr. 4:20-22 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
The word must be deposited inside of us. We put the Word constantly Word constantly before us- with songs Word, preaching, and fellowship. That is why the fellowship of believers is so important in our life. We must keep the Word in front of us so it will not depart from us so it will not depart from our eyes and cause us to have life for life is speak life and produce life in ourselves and others. When we obey the Word then we keep the answer in front of us so we can walk in power and authority in our life and bring that into the lives of others like Jesus did!
New Life Mark 10:46-52 46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
This is a great example of someone who was made new by going to Jesus! This blind man threw out his coat showing that he was no longer needing that source for his living. That coat made people know he was blind! He went to Jesus saying I want to see and demonstrated his faith in the Lord! He recognized Christ as the Messiah and though people said do not bother Christ He cried louder and Jesus showed him favor and Bartimaeus then received the favor of people once Christ recognized Bartimaeus.
I will believe because I have a BIG God who wants to walk and talk with Me. He wants to love me and fellowship with ME. God wants to answer my prayers and has prepared a place for me. God loves me. I will believe because of what He has already done for me and not because of what I must do to please Him. The answer is in the provision that was made for me. IT is much easier to believe knowing that the answer is already given to me then to know I must have the answer!
Believe in Christ Jn 11:25-27 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
The basis of our faith is knowing that Christ is alive and rose from the dead. He raised many from the dead including Lazarus. Jesus wants us to know that the life of God now lives in us. It starts by us knowing who Jesus is and then we can appropriate the life that is in Him! We start with this confession of faith. Then we go to the point of walking in the knowledge that the Great I Am wants to give us his the power of the name I AM to live in us!
I Believe All Things are Possible Mark 9:23-24 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
Faith says that all things are possible. When you believe that then you can expect the impossible. If you do not expect the impossible you can never make it happen. The answer is in striving for the impossible. When you go for broke then you can hit it. You can hit the target but you must take your best shot. You have to encourage someone to reach the target Faith reaches out and trust that God will provide for you! The man believed even though it seemed impossible to him and Jesus did the work. Jesus is still doing the work when we believe!
God Sent His Son Jn 6:28-29 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
The Work of God is to believe. The Work of God is not to strive with the flesh! Faith is the work! Faith causes us to manifest the work for the work of God. The work of God has always been manifested by faith. From the beginning of time God always created by faith. Now God wants us to partner with Him! We are now part of his family so we have access to the family rights and as such we can work in the earth like God does! We work as He does!
Faith in God – we all need to have a purpose or an AIM to shoot for. You can have a goal but without purpose you cannot hit anything there must be something you are going to shoot for. God says HE wants to be your AIM. He gave you an AIM to shoot for because HE gave you his faith so you can use what He has to accomplish the task that he has for you to complete your mission in this life!
Ask in Faith 1 Jn 5:14-15 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
When the Bible says ask in faith it does not mean to beg but to boldly ask. The Greek word is much stronger almost to the point of saying Demand. We speak with power and authority saying IN the Name of Jesus be healed. That is how we ask. But Christians go cowardly to ask, yet God wants us to go boldly in faith for that is how he acts so God wants us to ask like He does! We can have it if we ask boldly in faith with faith knowing that He will do it because he wants us to have what he provided!
I want to Bless you Heb 6:12-15 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
God told Abraham way back in Gen. 12 that he would bless him. God wants to bless you as well and gave you over 3,000 promises for God is still a God of covenant and says I will do it! God provided all you need in Christ! Paul said this to the Hebrews and the covenant they had still blessed them today! God says you have a better covenant and God wants to multiply your income and bless you beyond your thinking. Think big! Have a big vision and expect miracles in your life today!
Manifested Miracles in our Lives 1 Cor 2:4-7 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Here the Apostle Paul says he demonstrated the Gospel. He not only taught the Gospel but demonstrated it with miracles. God wants us to flow in miracles and we must do that with faith! God says that our faith does not go by reason, for no one can explain the things of God by reason. The things of God are what we should focus on and not the things that pertain to what we want. We focus too much on our needs and not the needs of the Kingdom!
Express Your Faith It is HIS faith His Story and HIS Word for HE is the one who created all things so it is all about Him. So let us be part of the Story and walk in HIS power so we can do the things that HE has called us to do. Todo that we must express what He put in our lives to tell. Tell others about HIS work and the things that HE did for us and the good things of God is constantly doing for us so we can share the kingdom that is within us. We can express our faith because of what He deposited within us to do the work in us to get the job done. We make withdraws from the bank of Jesus in Heaven.

But Christians go cowardly to ask, yet God wants us to go boldly in faith for that is how he acts so God wants us to ask like He does! We can have it if we ask boldly in faith with faith knowing that He will do it because he wants us to have what he provided!
I want to Bless you Heb 6:12-15 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
God told Abraham way back in Gen. 12 that he would bless him. God wants to bless you as well and gave you over 3,000 promises for God is still a God of covenant and says I will do it! God provided all you need in Christ! Paul said this to the Hebrews and the covenant they had still blessed them today! God says you have a better covenant and God wants to multiply your income and bless you beyond your thinking. Think big! Have a big vision and expect miracles in your life today!
Manifested Miracles in our Lives 1 Cor 2:4-7 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Here the Apostle Paul says he demonstrated the Gospel. He not only taught the Gospel but demonstrated it with miracles. God wants us to flow in miracles and we must do that with faith! God says that our faith does not go by reason, for no one can explain the things of God by reason. The things of God are what we should focus on and not the things that pertain to what we want. We focus too much on our needs and not the needs of the Kingdom!
Express Your Faith It is HIS faith His Story and HIS Word for HE is the one who created all things so it is all about Him. So let us be part of the Story and walk in HIS power so we can do the things that HE has called us to do. Todo that we must express what He put in our lives to tell. Tell others about HIS work and the things that HE did for us and the good things of God is constantly doing for us so we can share the kingdom that is within us. We can express our faith because of what He deposited within us to do the work in us to get the job done. We make withdraws from the bank of Jesus in Heaven.
Hearing the Word Rom 10:14-18 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
This is true for any business! When you study football, baseball, or any other sport you are said to have a high IQ for that sport. Study the Kingdom and have a high IQ for the Kingdom and speak that out. When you learn to speak out the words of the Kingdom then you will have what the Kingdom says you can have! You must believe that God said it and then you can obey the Gospel. Gospel teaching is in the concept of peace and righteousness and not in striving to obey the rules of men! Do you believe the report of men or the report of God?
I am Crucified with Christ Gal 2:20 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Say this with me: I am Crucified with Christ. You deserved to die and yet you live in Christ for he died for your sin! We do not consider ourselves to be unworthy since we do not do major sins. We think of ourselves as pretty good people but God sees all men as deserving of death for we are all sinners because of Adam’s sin and all men were in need of redemption so Christ came to die for all men not just the evil ones but also the goody too shoes as well! SO now because of the work of Christ I can say that I live by the faith of the Son of God and can use that faith to open doors for others in my life!
Strong Faith of Abraham Rom 4:17-21 17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Abraham was quite a guy for he believed God when he was 75 and left his country even though at that time he never heard of this God. He was polytheistic in his belief and was now going against the gods of his fathers and family. He believed in the God who spoke to him the good news of having a great family even though his wife was 65 then. He believed in a God who said things too wonderful to believe and trusted him with all things in his life. He believed God would raise his son from the dead after he killed the boy. What a faith! HE believed and led a life of faith being obedient even though at times he did not hold fast to his faith! God called him faithful and took him to that land that he promised!
Conclusion- Faith si not just to believe one time but to have a life of faith that causes you to walk knowing that God will provide all your needs no matter what. Faith trusts Him in all situations despite the evidence to the contrary for God is greater than anything that the Devil does. Faith believes! We can live in an unshakeable faith that has confidence that God will come through every time and in every situation for God is greater than anything that the Devil can do. God is the Creator and all things are subject to Him! So, walk in that confidence today!
Application – This message is about helping you to understand that you have LIFE in Him and can walk in that LIFE just like others did for God is greater than your mistakes and the problems that you see in this life. God wants to open doors for you in this life and allow you to walk as a faith giant to produce miracles in this life just like those in HEB 11 and to have victory in every area of your life. Do not limit yourself or God, but walk in faith today!
Prayer for healing- (pray in faith believing) Expect a miracle and see yourself as being healed. Find a Scripture for your healing and speak that forth. Heavenly Father I pray for healing. I thank you for manifesting healing in my body today! You took all my sickness, disease, pain, sorrow for you paid for it on the cross of Calvary. I speak healing into my body and command ______________ to leave my body! No weapon can defeat me! I call myself healed because of the blood of Jesus Christ. Devil take your hands off of me for I am the child of the living God! Now thank the Lord for healing you!

Faith that is Alive and Unshakeable
Introduction: Understand that when we follow Jesus, we need to represent the Lord for we represent the LIFE of God to others. When they see us, they see the LIFE of God that is in us. That is how we know that our faith is alive because it causes us to demonstrate the LIFE of God into people so you can walk in the life of God and show others how to do so!
Focus Scripture Jn 7:3-5 3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.4 For there is no man that doeth anything in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.
Many times, Jesus did not want to be known in what he did. Lots of times he said do not tell anyone for he was not seeking fame or glory for himself. Too often people want to seek their own glory but we should always seek to honor the Lord and not yourself. Yet, he had multitudes that followed him because of the teachings and miracles that he did. He could not anymore be private but spoke openly!
Living Faith comes when we put our faith in the SON of God for without the knowledge of who Jesus is we cannot know God. All knowledge of God comes through the revelation of the Son and the SON came to reveal the Father. We must know the SON to do miracles so we can walk in power and to have faith operate in our life. So, we must walk in the new life that came by the life and then the death of the SON of God on Calvary to provide redemption for all mankind!
Sword of the Spirit Heb 4:12-13 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
This Is one of the weapons that we have as a believer but this is the basis for our relationship. We must rely on the Word. The Word lets us know what we have in the Lord and allows us to know the answer for the covenant and all we have in Him is expressed in the Word. God uses the Word to defeat the enemy! Words release power and allows us to express the faith that we have inside. The internal realities are expressed through words. The Word of God has power and allows us to release what God put inside of us!
Obey the Word Pr. 4:20-22 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
The word must be deposited inside of us. We put the Word constantly Word constantly before us- with songs Word, preaching, and fellowship. That is why the fellowship of believers is so important in our life. We must keep the Word in front of us so it will not depart from us so it will not depart from our eyes and cause us to have life for life is speak life and produce life in ourselves and others. When we obey the Word then we keep the answer in front of us so we can walk in power and authority in our life and bring that into the lives of others like Jesus did!
New Life Mark 10:46-52 46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
This is a great example of someone who was made new by going to Jesus! This blind man threw out his coat showing that he was no longer needing that source for his living. That coat made people know he was blind! He went to Jesus saying I want to see and demonstrated his faith in the Lord! He recognized Christ as the Messiah and though people said do not bother Christ He cried louder and Jesus showed him favor and Bartimaeus then received the favor of people once Christ recognized Bartimaeus.
I will believe because I have a BIG God who wants to walk and talk with Me. He wants to love me and fellowship with ME. God wants to answer my prayers and has prepared a place for me. God loves me. I will believe because of what He has already done for me and not because of what I must do to please Him. The answer is in the provision that was made for me. IT is much easier to believe knowing that the answer is already given to me then to know I must have the answer!
Believe in Christ Jn 11:25-27 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
The basis of our faith is knowing that Christ is alive and rose from the dead. He raised many from the dead including Lazarus. Jesus wants us to know that the life of God now lives in us. It starts by us knowing who Jesus is and then we can appropriate the life that is in Him! We start with this confession of faith. Then we go to the point of walking in the knowledge that the Great I Am wants to give us his the power of the name I AM to live in us!
I Believe All Things are Possible Mark 9:23-24 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
Faith says that all things are possible. When you believe that then you can expect the impossible. If you do not expect the impossible you can never make it happen. The answer is in striving for the impossible. When you go for broke then you can hit it. You can hit the target but you must take your best shot. You have to encourage someone to reach the target Faith reaches out and trust that God will provide for you! The man believed even though it seemed impossible to him and Jesus did the work. Jesus is still doing the work when we believe!
God Sent His Son Jn 6:28-29 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
The Work of God is to believe. The Work of God is not to strive with the flesh! Faith is the work! Faith causes us to manifest the work for the work of God. The work of God has always been manifested by faith. From the beginning of time God always created by faith. Now God wants us to partner with Him! We are now part of his family so we have access to the family rights and as such we can work in the earth like God does! We work as He does!
Faith in God – we all need to have a purpose or an AIM to shoot for. You can have a goal but without purpose you cannot hit anything there must be something you are going to shoot for. God says HE wants to be your AIM. He gave you an AIM to shoot for because HE gave you his faith so you can use what He has to accomplish the task that he has for you to complete your mission in this life!
Ask in Faith 1 Jn 5:14-15 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
