About Word Of Grace

Word of Grace Fellowship was founded in 1988, growing out of a Bible study at Evangelistic Centre in Rahway under Rev. Dr. Paul F. McCarthy. Led by founding Pastor Rev. John Hogan and Assistant Pastor Rev. Don Carson, the church began with about 20 members meeting at local YMCAs and launched the cable TV program Nothing but Grace in 1989. Dedicated to teaching the Gospel of Grace and the righteousness of God, the fellowship continues to uphold Rev. Hogan’s vision of a church centered on God’s grace. After Rev. Hogan’s passing in 2006, Rev. Don Carson became Pastor and Rev. Dr. Natalie Marino joined as Assistant Pastor. Today, Word of Grace Fellowship invites all to join in growing together in His amazing grace.

July 19, 2026

I have given to you myself – do you not know that I did not send an angel to you, for I sent myself. I am on your side for I redeemed you at the cross of Calvary! I am for you and will keep you in all situations and at all times. I have come to live in you and will never leave you! Lean not to your understanding but lean to my Word and my wisdom. Let my Spirit guide you and give to you peace when you feel like you have none.

Seek my Face – I want to fellowship with you and work with you for I am not only your God but I want to be your friend! Abraham was my friend and I want to also be your friend. I want you to walk in my covenant and walk in my power says the Lord! Lean to my provision for in me there is only power and joy, Trust in me and know that the answer is given through the name of Christ! Seek me and you will find me and find great and mighty things!

SPRING AND SUMMER NEWSLETTER. J JUNE 2026

This year we celebrated Easter and had a Rededication service on May 17th. President Trump Rededicated America to the Lord and Pastor Don spoke about that. The sermon this year for Easter 2026 was on April 5th- the message was about Living for Him. We gave a cross for Easter and for our church anniversary we gave shirts to our members. We celebrated Mother’ s Day on May 10th with Maricel making letters and giving them to the members. The message was entitled Honor Your Mom The message for Father’s Day on June 21st was about the Blessings of a Father. The gifts for Fathers’ Day is a back massager. Because, of the 250th Anniversary of the Nation on July 5th Pastor Don will have a special message to celebrate our Freedom entitled You are Free in Christ. On July 12th Rev Natalie Marino Blackmore will be speaking on the Uniqueness of Jesus.

Giving as an Act of Worship

The Bible teaches that we are to bless those that bless us. When we give to God then God opens doors for blessing in our life. Giving allows you to receive from the Lord. Lk 6:38 So give according to your heart as God says 2 Cor 9:7

I am proud to be a member of Word of Grace Fellowship. The late Rev. John Hogan had the honor of performing my wedding ceremony, and after his passing, Rev. Dr. Don Carson stepped in to lead our congregation with unwavering dedication.

Pastor Donnie has definitely grown in the spirit and is very devoted. The zoom was a great venue to reach out to people who may not be close. My mom always looks forward to it every Wednesday and every Sunday, it rejuvenates her and lifts her spirit.
Murder Grace is a safe place for everyone and all are welcome. I’m proud to say I am a member of it.

What I like about attending church is the knowledge I receive during the services I attend.

Congratulations on our 37th year God’s faithfulness. We give thanks for the love support and fellowship we have experienced. May we continue to grow together in faith and service for many years to come. As we celebrate all that God has done in through our church. May we continue to shine His light in our community and beyond trusting that He has great things ahead of us-
